Course Purpose:
Imagine that an organization is like a tree. If the tree is healthy, it will bear healthy fruit. If a non-profit organization has healthy working relationships it will deliver services of high quality. The opposite is also true. If the values, structure or processes of the organization are imperfect, neglected, the flaws will eventually affect the quality of the organization's services. Just as tragic, the health (psychological, emotional and physical) of the individuals within the organization is at risk. The tree is a living organism, and if one part is diseased, it is bound to have an effect on other parts of the tree.
So it’s very important to build healthy relationships both within the organization and outside the work environment.
